The participation fee for students in intake 2025 is €19,000 per year.*
There is no application fee.
All accepted students are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of €295. This fee is only requested after students have accepted an offer by one of our programmes.
*The Institute of Sustainable Energy Stichting, created in 2017, is the legal entity which manages the participation fee of students of InnoEnergy Masters+ programme. Therefore, invoices and agreements will be issued by this company.
Included in the participation fee
- All tuition at both of your chosen universities.
- Your participation in activities of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Journey of your programme of choice.
- All costs related to InnoEnergy events that are an integral part of your programme’s curriculum (including any travel and accommodation costs).
- Support by our Careers+ including dedicated internship and employment opportunities within our portfolio companies and shareholders, the Career Impact Programme and Challenges.
- Access to industry case studies, study visits and our exclusive CommUnity platform of students and alumni.
Excluded from participation fee
Plan ahead and check additional expenses you might have
- Travel from your home to and from your first-year and second-year universities.
- Your living expenses (such as accommodation at your year 1 and year 2 universities’ cities, books, food, health insurance, local transportation costs, etc).
- Travel costs for some of the activities offered in the programme like the Career Impact Challenges.
Depending on the study location and personal expectations, InnoEnergy recommends ~ €850-1250 per month.
Funding your studies
InnoEnergy offers various ways to support students fund their studies:
- Payment of participation fee in up to five annual instalments.
- Partnership with financial institutions for students to access loans, scholarships or income sharing agreements.
Payment in installments
Easy way to budget your study costs
Students joining our programmes have the opportunity to choose between paying the annual participation fee upfront or in up to five instalments per year.
- Once admitted into one of our programmes and having accepted the offer, you will receive an invoice to pay the registration fee (295 EUR) within two weeks.
- After you pay the registration fee, your seat is confirmed!
- Later, you will receive an invoice for your annual participation fee (see calendar below). You will need to confirm your prefered payment method: payment upfront or payment in instalments (additional annual 350 EUR administrative fee applies)

Students who select payment in instalments are requested to complete their payment in five instalments (payment milestones). By the deadline of each milestone, you will need to have paid a specific amount. More details can be found on the payment plan below.
Please note that there is an additional annual 350 EUR (inc. VAT) administrative fee for students who choose payment in instalments.

** Students who will pursue their year 1 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology are requested to pay their first instalment in May 2025. Students from Rounds 1-3 who will pursue their year 1 at any other institution are requested to pay their first instalment in June. Students from Rounds 4-5 are requested to pay their first instalment in July.
