InnoEnergy and Rockstart, the two top-rated energy-focused start-up incubation and acceleration programs in the Netherlands have teamed up again for a joint initiative with the goal to provide the most relevant support to the best start-ups out there. Start-ups can apply for programs by InnoEnergy and Rockstart at the same time and receive tailor-made offers according to their needs and growth stage.
“We continue our mission to get the best start-ups in energy and cleantech to join one of the strongest acceleration ecosystems in Europe,” said Raymond Meeuwsen, InnoEnergy Business Creation Manager “Like last year, we are looking for ambitious entrepreneurs in the fields of energy transition and sustainability.” The programs that comprise EnergyXL cater for start-ups that are in different growth stages. The main goal of the initiative, is to provide more value for the best teams working in the energy sector by matching their needs with respective partner offerings.
“We’ve been running our Smart Energy program since 2014,” said Freerk Bisschop, Smart Energy Program Director at Rockstart. “Every year, we receive a number of applications from very promising start-ups, for which the time isn’t right to join our program. EnergyXL is there to solve this mismatch and make sure each team gets the support, guidance, and empowerment they require.”
Start-ups interested in participating can apply until 3rd of June for any of the programs offered by EnergyXL. InnoEnergy and Rockstart will review the applications against their own criteria. Once the shortlists have been created, the best start-ups will be invited to the Selection Days for InnoEnergy before summer (and for Rockstart later this year).
“We, at InnoEnergy, are excited to be part of this initiative. We work intensively with our start-ups and support them in bringing their products and services to the market. With our tailored programs, years of experience, focus on energy and European network we offer all the ingredients for success.” Says Michael Samra, Scouting Associate at InnoEnergy .
