Stockholm, April 24 to 26, 2025 — This year’s Masters+ Connect brought together a vibrant mix of InnoEnergy Masters+ students, alumni, and industry leaders for three unforgettable days of energy, inspiration, and opportunity in the heart of Stockholm. From reverse pitches and startup showcases to powerful workshops and real-world career conversations, the event truly delivered on its mission: to connect, empower, and prepare the energy leaders of tomorrow.
Before students met companies one on one, the tables turned. During the Reverse Pitching session, twelve leading energy companies stepped into the spotlight to present themselves—not just as employers, but as visionaries shaping the future.
These weren’t your typical recruitment talks. Each company shared its mission, growth trajectory, and the kind of talent they’re excited to work with.
The lineup featured Schneider Electric, CorPower Ocean, Energiot, Enline Energy Solutions, Equinox Ocean Turbines BV, GravitHy, KERIONICS, NitroCapt AB, Novatron Fusion Group AB, Percy Roc, Siemens Energy, and Stockholm Water Technology.
It gave students a rare and refreshing look behind the curtain at company culture, current projects, and long-term goals all before any resumes were exchanged.
One of the standout experiences of Masters+ Connect 2025 was the one-on-one meetings between students and companies. Each student had the chance to meet two companies matched to their skills and ambitions.
These weren’t rushed chats or surface-level networking. They were thoughtful, engaging conversations, focused on real career paths, shared values, and the potential to collaborate in meaningful ways.
“I walked into that room nervous. I walked out with clarity, connections and a great way to advance my career” said Antara, a first-year Sustainable Energy Systems(SELECT) student.
With twelve cutting-edge companies participating, these sessions opened up genuine opportunities for internships, future roles, and long-term partnerships in the energy sector.
The final day brought the highly anticipated finale of the Green Seed Journey Competition, an exciting venture-building challenge where students teamed up with advisors and investors to create game-changing energy solutions.
After weeks of developing their ideas through venture creation, market research, and solution validation, five outstanding teams pitched live at Connect+ 2025, and the winners were announced.

“These aren’t just pitch decks. They’re serious ventures already showing traction.” one of the judges commented.
The energy, passion, and innovation on display showed just how much can happen when brilliant minds get the right platform to shine.
A keynote session by Schneider Electric gave students an inside look at how global decarbonization is being turned into an actionable strategy. The talk covered key innovations in electrification and digitization, offering insights on how large companies are driving impact at scale.
More importantly, it made clear the role that young professionals and engineers will play in making these visions a reality.
One of the most impactful sessions of the weekend was led by David Young, psychologist at Manchester City Football Club. His workshop focused on mindset, identity, and performance, drawing directly from the world of elite sports.
Through reflection exercises and group work, students explored their personal values, leadership strengths, and mental resilience.
“This helped me get clear on who I want to be, not just what I want to do. And I’ve never felt more connected to my peers.” said Sarthak, a first-year Smart Electrical Networks and System (SENSE) student.
It was a powerful reminder that success in the energy industry isn’t just about knowledge. It’s also about self-awareness, balance, and purpose.
From the warm pizza-filled welcome at Hostel to icebreaker games, professional headshots, and a fireside chat with Lowina Lundström and Bo Normark, every moment was designed to help people connect beyond the classroom.
A special keynote by an alumnus from GravitHy highlighted just how far an InnoEnergy Masters+ can take you, from student to startup founder to industry leader.
Masters+ Connect 2025 was more than just an event. It was a launchpad. Students walked away not just with new knowledge and job leads, but with a deeper sense of confidence, purpose, and belonging.
