What is CommUnity+?
CommUnity+ is the global network of InnoEnergy Masters+ students and alumni, dedicated to sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and building the connections that drive careers, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Its purpose is simple but ambitious: to create experiences where every event, conversation, and connection moves you forward — professionally and personally.
It does this through five core areas.
Before you arrive
Most programmes wait until orientation week to introduce you to your cohort. CommUnity+ starts earlier.
As soon as you receive your offer, you’re added to dedicated applicant groups where you can ask questions, meet future classmates, and get practical guidance on everything from housing and visas to city life and course selection.
By the time you arrive, you’re not starting from zero. You already have people.
Welcome events across Europe
Between September and October, CommUnity+ organises welcome events across every city where students begin their journey. These aren’t just icebreakers, they’re the moment you meet the people who will shape your next two years: fellow students, local volunteers, and alumni who’ve been where you are.
These moments often become the starting point of friendships, collaborations, and professional relationships that last long after graduation.
Local Teams: Your City, Your Community
Every campus has a local volunteer team that brings CommUnity+ to life on the ground. These teams curate an ongoing calendar of activities, company visits, technical workshops, cultural outings, networking events, and panel discussions that help you feel at home and connected, wherever you are in Europe.
Academic learning is one part of the picture. Local teams build the rest.
Student-Led Topic Teams
CommUnity+ also gives students the space to pursue what they care about beyond their coursework.
The Consulting Club connects students with alumni working in consulting through online sessions and in-person events — including PPT Karaoke nights that build confidence in public speaking in the most unexpected way.
The Podcast Team produces InnoStation, a student-run podcast featuring conversations with alumni, entrepreneurs, and founders across the energy and sustainability landscape — released every month.
These aren’t passive experiences. Students build, run, and shape them.

Supporting Student Leadership
CommUnity+ also supports the Student Council, the elected representatives who make sure student voices stay at the centre of the programme. Each year, CommUnity+ runs dedicated leadership training for council members, giving them the tools to lead effectively and develop skills that go well beyond their studies.
