Before you arrive

Start connecting. Once you accept your Masters+ offer, you can begin meeting the people who will share the journey with you. Your early CommUnity+ access helps you connect with other incoming students, find housing information and practical support, explore city guides, and start preparing for life in your Year 1 location. Accepted students are currently invited to the platform by email and given access to the incoming-student group, housing support and city information.

Become a CommUnity+ Leader

CommUnity+ Leaders help bring the community to life in their local Masters+ location.

All students can get involved. As a Leader, you can help develop the events and activities you want to see, meet students and alumni across the network and gain experience working in an international team.

You will also have a guaranteed place at the Leaders’ Summit, bringing CommUnity+ Leaders together to exchange ideas, develop their skills and strengthen connections across locations.

As a CommUnity+ Leader, you can:

help shape local events and activities;
grow your network across Masters+;
gain experience in cross-cultural teamwork;
connect with other student leaders at the Leaders’ Summit.

A network that grows with you

The people you meet through Masters+ are not limited to the students graduating alongside you. With more than 2,300 alumni, CommUnity+ connects current students with people who have already studied across the same universities, moved through the same international experience and gone on to build careers across the energy sector. Alumni return to CommUnity+ through talks, events, mentoring and other activities, sharing what they have learned with the students following them. After graduation, you become part of that network too.

Your CommUnity+ journey starts once you have been admitted and accepted your Masters+ offer. You will receive an email invitation to activate your account and access the incoming-student community.

The platform lets students and alumni connect, join groups, discover events and access community resources and previous sessions.

Local teams organise activities in Masters+ study locations, helping students connect beyond their immediate course through welcome events, alumni talks, company visits, cultural activities and other community events.

All Masters+ students are welcome to get involved. CommUnity+ Leaders help shape activities in their local communities, develop experience working across cultures and receive a guaranteed place at the Leaders’ Summit.

CommUnity+ Leaders help create and organise community experiences locally. The Student Council consists of elected representatives who represent student voices within the wider Masters+ programme.

Yes. After graduation, you become part of the Masters+ alumni network and can stay involved through alumni events, connections and activities across the wider community.
